Congratulations on being 2/3 of the way through. Counting each milestone seems to make it go faster. Take care.
Lumpectomy - JustForToday
Procedure or Surgery Associated with Triple-Negative Breast Cancer, Ductal. Posted on February 9, 2018 View this journey (3 Experiences)
Surgery done 1/26/2018. The injection of the radioactive tracer to identify the sentinel node for women having breast cancer surgery is not pleasant. It seems more could be done by the radiologist for pain management. I was pleased that my medical oncologist suggested we remove the port used for chemotherapy infusion. When the surgeon learned we had difficulties getting blood return for the last half-dozen infusions he also felt it was a good idea. I am 2/3 way through my treatment. Just radiation left to go!

I agree 100% about the pain issue. Also, I had radiation daily for seven weeks and used My Girls cream three times a day during radiation. Even though I am fair-skinned and sunburn easily, I had no skin issues during (or after) radiation. It was very difficult to even see a skin color difference. My Girls Cream is available from their own website or from amazon (of course!) Good luck!
