Diagnosed 2/15/13, really thought results were going to come back as an infection, not so lucky. Received the news over the phone on Friday before I was going on a family vaca to Mexico with husband and 15 year-old son. Needless to say we cancelled the trip, I thought I would have had an appointment with the surgeon during the week but found out he was away. I'm still unsure as to how far along the cancer is, I have an appointment with the pulmonologist this week and a PFT and brain MRI. I just lost my mother-in-law to lung cancer on New Year's Eve after a 15 month battle. My poor husband now has to go through it with me.
