Chemotherapy - Ladygail

Drug or Chemo Therapy Associated with Colorectal (Colon) Cancer. Posted on January 7, 2012 View this journey (5 Experiences)

I had a number of drugs, avastin, oxiplatin, and some others I don't recall. I also wore an infusion pack and would go back on Thursdays to have it removed over the weekends and get the neulesta shots to keep my blood count up. I did not have any nausea thank goodness, but had occasional bouts with diarreha. Side effects I experienced was numbness and tingling fingers, toes, and feet. Certain foods I use to like I no longer could tolerate. Water tasted like metal and sweets tasted awful to me. I currently have discomfort wearing shoes, but it is alot better than it use to be. I also have problems with my balance and neuropathy.
