That is fantastic! I'm interested in your modified CHOP - as I'm also on a modified CHOP and have ALCL. Let's chat!

    Hey B-
As a peds patient I received a-LOT of adriamycin and my current oncologist had to adjust my current therapy so that I wouldn't go over the lifetime limit. Once it was explained to me that large amounts of adriamycin damages the heart, I really couldn't object!!
But my last 2 treatments have been completely adria-free and have been such a picnic!! No nausea or mouthsores.... Its like chemo- paradise!!

Did they do Etoposide instead? That is what I am on. Since I have an underlying heart condition, we are "saving" that adriamyacin as a last ditch effort if it comes back and I need a salvage therapy.

I'm reallly glad whatever they have you on in working.

Is this similar to your first bought with ALCL when you were a kid?
