Radiation - Lovie
Radiation Associated with Chondrosarcoma, Bone Cancer. Posted on January 4, 2012 View this journey (2 Experiences)
I received radiation treatments everyday for 6 weeks. The actual treatments were painless, but the radiation burns to my cheeks and mouth were painful. I'm just about ten years out and the long term radiation side effects for me are damage to my retinas, chronic ear ringing, and very little sense of taste. I have had laser surgery to my retinas in the past three years to prevent vision loss, and I continue to be monitored by the docs.
