Chemotherapy - Maggiemae57

Drug or Chemo Therapy Associated with B-Cell Lymphoma. Posted on May 23, 2014 View this journey (4 Experiences)

I am on the R Chop chemo course. R stands for Retuxin, I also take prednisone (the P). After first chemo(R) started getting introduced to my body, reaction after reaction occurred (also have one prednisone in me). They have to stop chemo and give anti-reaction meds then start drip again. Sadly that took 9 hours and when I was done 15 minutes, hit the panic button. Thought my heart was going to come out of my body. My resting rate was 154. Got whisked to the ER and spent two days as a patient, finished my chemo inpatient.

How are you doing now? Did they have to change the type of chemo you're receiving? I start my 1st cycle of R CHOP on Thurs 7/17/14. Any pointers for me?
