Hair loss (alopecia) - mahina

Side Effects Associated with Squamous Cell Carcinoma, Cervical Cancer. Posted on October 28, 2015 View this journey (24 Experiences)

Day 11 after first round of chemo and my hair has started falling. Within 3 days I can see my scalp behind my ears and the lower part of my head. Some scalp tenderness. In the shower is the worse when it all clumps together and sticks to my arms and body.
Update : Day 18 A week after the initial fall out, top of head and around face is almost totally bald. Got a few stragglers hanging on in the back and side. Tonight is Halloween and I'm my own spook! Finding humor daily but most thankful for the many blessings I still have!
