Surgery itself was fine. Grateful for no colostomy. Have had diarrhea and cramping ever since. Not sure if it is just due to the surgery, chemo, or most likely, both.

Went as Expected: Agree

    Hi! I also have/had colon cancer. I'm 44. I had a resection of the colon along with the removal of my ovaries. Cancer spread from the ovaries to the colon. When I had the resection of the colon, I woke up to find that I had an ostomy bag. Thank goodness, I have since had the reversal. I have also had diarrhea. It was due to the surgery & also chemo. I didn't have any cramping though. I would definitely check with your Dr. about that.
