Back to my doctors of 18 years. - MaryEdythe

Celebration Associated with Uterine Leiomyosarcoma. Posted on June 29, 2013 View this journey (5 Experiences)

I am on Medicaid. I am on Molina insurance. Molina does not work with Virginia Mason Medical Center. I had to change physicians, lost wonderful doctors. They found a loophole. VMMC requested my care be returned to them. Two victories: Virginia Mason physician is Oncologist and surgeon. Virginia Mason physician is diabetologist.

i read your journey, wow, its hard enough finding out we have cancer, let alone struggling to find medical care for your needs!!! i have insurance thru my work, but they still have denied about $150,000 so far, i pray God will work this all out, and so i continue to let them treat me!!! the cancer center hasn't turned me away yet!!! Prayers to You***

My prayers your way as well. I have United Healthcare insurance now, my second surgery is 9/23. I just bought a wig named "Claire." I'm having it made in color #4, rich brown, closest to my hair. Where are you? Are you near an office of American Cancer Society? There are agencies with funds to help. I hope you will call for referrals. Please keep in contact.
