Simple removal surgery - meyati

Procedure or Surgery Associated with Atypical/Agressive Basal Cell Carcinoma. Posted on June 18, 2013 View this journey (17 Experiences)

I had part of my nose, lip and space in between removed in 2 surgeries. My face always aches, and sometimes down right hurts. My sinuses don't drain properly, so now I'm the best friend of an ENT. I can't eat anything hot from the stove, as it makes my lip split open. I'm allergic to Tylenol, so I wasn't given any pain killer. The inside of my mouth swelled up. I can't suck from a straw-those muscles were removed. The surgeon said that she cut out too much, but it didn't make any difference as my face needed to have the flesh and skin stripped off so I can have a few more years. I look good, because she's an excellent plastic surgeon. My son is a disabled vet with PTSD. I had all of this done with just Lidocaine, so I could walk out of the office and not stress him out. The aggressive cancer diagnosis was his birthday present.
