Radiation Associated with B-Cell Lymphoma. Posted on September 5, 2012 View this journey (6 Experiences)

near the end of chemotherapy it was decided that the Lymphoma in my bones (none in any tissue) could not be determined to be effectively eradicated by chemo, and a bone marrow transplant was needed. So I spent 3 weeks at OHSU getting whole body irradiation, super chemo to kill everything but me (had harvested bone marrow after my last treatment of chemo) and underwent a bone marrow transplant. Side affects are pretty horrific, but I survived :::-) Dr. Hayes-Lattin is awesome!
