I had injections of Granix daily for 4 days in January 2019. White blood cells were low. Granix made them quite high, then they leveled out to previous low-but-not-super-low levels. Was warned about pain in femurs and hipbones (big bones have more marrow and thus produce more white blood cells), but where I felt it was in my sternum. Kind of a random stabby feeling for 20-30 seconds, several times a day. They had me take Claritin (or the generic drugstore equivalent) --- it's an allergy medicine but its active ingredient helps. It worked for me.
