I hope it went well and they got it all. What's next? Chemo and radiation?

I was in shock too. They didn't think I had cancer until after the surgery when they got the biopsy results. So I went from this is a polyp that just needs surgical removal to well, hello, mrs. Stage III cancer. The shock wears off once the process moves forward. Stage II is not such a bad place to be, just keep positive, get good doctors, and you will do well.

You will get through this and be so strong. We all know about the fear. I have gone through a year of it. Constantly some new side effect and mix of good and bad news. People who just want you to disappear so they don't have to think what to do with you, etc
I am now all done with treatment, had ileostomy reversal, and just have a nit of recovery yet. One year ago today I had the colonoscopy that found the tumor. You will prevail.
    Love to you
