Put on Arimidex - navalex

Drug or Chemo Therapy Associated with Ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS). Posted on September 8, 2012 View this journey (19 Experiences)

Had appointments with the Medical Oncologist and Radiologist regarding the type of treatment - keep the breast and have radiation & chemotherapy - have a mastectomy and have chemotherapy only. If necessary to have radiation, then will need to consult with radiologist. Was put on Arimidex until tissue sample results from Lumpectomy came back and until I made a decision on what type of treatment I would have.
