Chemotherapy - PurestPisces

Drug or Chemo Therapy Associated with Choriocarcinoma. Posted on February 28, 2014 View this journey (5 Experiences)

Just completed my 20 hour chemo treatment Tuesday. Thank heavens I have the power port... best thing I could have done for this treatment. Side affects aren't too bad yet... no appetite, slight nausea and extreme exhaustion are the only symptoms rearing their ugly heads at this point. We will see what the rest of the week brings. I have heard 3 to 5 days after chemo is when symptoms can really start to hit.

Only 5 more chemo treatments to go :) cancer doesn't stand a chance ;)

Good luck with the treatments, mark them off the calendar and before you know it they will be done. I know it seems like a long time now, but it will pass. Let us know if you need help with anything around the site, or information on anything.

Keep up a healthy diet, when I had my port put in and started chemo, I picked up a juicer and juiced lots of carrots and apples, or carrots and spinach with some celery is great! These veggies help fight cancer. Do some research;) Stay positive and I wish you the best.
