Procedure or Surgery Associated with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL). Posted on October 15, 2019 View this journey (3 Experiences)

I have blood tests and see my oncologist every 3 months to monitor my CLL. Last month the automated blood count found blast cells in my blood. A pathologist examined my blood sample and could not rule out blast cells. So at my regular 3 month visit the oncologist did a bone marrow biopsy and I had a CT scan to see if I had developed acute myeloid leukemia. It was a scary few days waiting for the results but thankfully both were negative and I continue with slowly progressing CLL.
