Side effects not terrible but skin was burned and voice lost after 33 radiation treatments. Chemo wasnt too bad. I went once a week
In retrospect, we never should have waited a year after surgery to recheck and we should have had chemo right after surgery as a precausion.
When I did go back May 2011 the cancer had spread to the lymph nodes and I was in stage IIIB
