Chemotherapy - rolandfranklin

Drug or Chemo Therapy Associated with Carcinoid Tumor, Colorectal Cancer. Posted on September 7, 2012 View this journey (11 Experiences)

Afer I was released from the hospital from the surgery, I was then placed on a chemo regimen of 5fu and leucovorin. Treatment was every week for 6 months. I had one week off in between cycles. It was easy to get the chemo. I actually was able to work while getting the treatments. My job allowed me to work from home and I would take my laptop to the Dr.'s office and do my work while getting treatment. I would get very lathargic soon after the treatment. I would then get a saline hydryation and shots to boost my white cells after treatment.
