Procedure or Surgery - ScarStopper

Procedure or Surgery Associated with Basal Cell Carcinoma, Skin Cancer - Non-Melanoma. Posted on December 22, 2017 View this journey (1 Experience)

My father was diagnosed with BCC by his Family Medicine doctor. Our small town sent us to the EN&T to have the BCC that was directly over the temporal nerve removed. The surgery would have resulted in nerve loss/damage, scars, palsy, and still they wanted to use this primitive procedure to "cure" the skin cancer. We chose SRT and received 100% cure, no recurrence, no pain, no scar, no bandages, no medications, and Medicare paid for it all. Do your homework! Sometimes the solution offered is based on limited access to better solutions and do not underestimate the financial incentive.
