24 hours after my second round of chemo got my first Neulasta shot to stimulate the bone marrow to produce more white blood cells. The shot was given in my stomach (one-time). Some people go home and give themselves shots over a course of time. Took Claritin the day before and for 7 days after for bone pain. Also took up to 800 mgs of Advil 3x daily for bone and associated pain. Bone pain wasn't too bad with the Advil and Claritin, mostly in my clavicle area and in some thigh areas. Lasted maybe a few hours during two days after the shot. I don't like it, but I like what it does!!!
