In isolation for 72 hours after receiving RAI treatment yesterday. So far, so good with minimal transient side effects. Worst part is being cooped up until Sunday evening, but really, it could be so much worse! I have a wonderful supportive family and friends who are truly incredible. Due to a glitch in my doctor's office I have been on this low iodine diet for 11 weeks now, so needless to say, I can't wait to have a good meal.......my wish list: fried chicke, mac and cheese and ice cream or cake for dessert!
