Oh No - Susanne

Oh No Associated with Lung Cancer. Posted on January 17, 2012 View this journey (2 Experiences)

I have no Idea how to handle this information. I am scared that I am going to die. And if I get any more advise from people that have not had or have cancer I may stab them in the eye with a spoon.( not really) I have been through one treatment of chemo. I am not able to work until this uninvited guest leaves my body. I feel the depression coming on some days and that scares me too. I don't know what I want people to tell me....but I know I need to hear something positive. I do have a friend that is a breast Cancer survivor and they have been wonderful to me. but I can't dump everything on her.

HELP.

Sue

I would suggest reading several of the "Cancer Journeys" on this site, particularly those with lung cancer. You can then see how others have handle their diagnoses and continue to cope and live life. Arm yourself with information, there's plenty out there. Be care of the sources that you read on the internet -make sure they are dated recently as much has changed since even 2008. Wishing you peace of mind and body.
