So many side effects - tstrazz

Side Effects Associated with Papillary Carcinoma, Thyroid Cancer. Posted on June 16, 2014 View this journey (6 Experiences)

I encountered a number of side effects and was rather naive to think one simple hormone replacement pill would make me 'normal.' Excessive weight gain, hair loss, muscle fatigue, tiredness, brittle and discolored nails, dry skin, excessive menstrual bleeding and cramping. It look a few years, but I figured out I needed to conquer each side effect individually. It's difficult since I still don't feel my Synthoid is the correct dosage. My side effects fluctuate often and I never feel like I have enough energy or stamina. NEVER! Even today. I just wish someone would have told me the long-term and permanent side effects.

I too never expected that the older I get the more my side effects change. I don't have energy but have a difficult time falling a sleep without sleep aid. My bones ache so bad. I have pains in my abdomen/stomach. I've been having headaches lately. I don't even want to get out of bed. My dream was to travel at retirement but can't even get out of bed some great retirement. I've tried to get an appointment to see my doctor but can't get in until July 7th.
