This is a good question. I suggest that you post it in our Questions section (click on Questions in the blue bar). Also, you can read through the journeys of others with this diagnosis. When you are on your home page (click on home in the blue bar), look to the right and see "Find Peers." The people in that section are the ones on WhatNext who most closely share your diagnosis. I hope this helps.

Stage IV treatment here is palliative (chemotherapy & radiation) with the intent to lengthen life and quality of life, not to cure. I have been on palliative therapy for almost 21 months now and feel as good now as when I was diagnosed.

I see that RuthAnne has reached out to you, great! I also wanted to give you this list of others on WhatNext who are dealing with adenocarcinoma. I thought this might help: http://www.whatnext.com/users?utf8=✓&search[query]=Adenocarcinoma

Please let me know if there is anything else we can do for you.
