Chemotherapy - zeph317

Drug or Chemo Therapy Associated with Leukemia . Posted on December 13, 2011 View this journey (1 Experience)

I was diagnosed with MDS in June 2011. My search for a bone marrow donor started the end of July 2011. Even though, I have 5 siblings, none are a match. I started chemotherapy in August 2011 with no success in finding a match as of today. I consider myself a woman of faith and am trusting for the best outcome. Unfortunately, I am very human. I've gone through many stages of denial and anger. I have a beautiful support system, family, church and a wonderful boyfriend. He sees all my ups and unfortunately too many of my downs. He is very positive. I feel like a failure when I'm angry or sad or appear to lack faith. I will be having another biopsy next month. With no match, my Oncologist has stated increase chemotherapy may be next. I've tried to remain strong but I feel like I'm failing.
