Hi AbbysMom, I am sorry you are frustrated. Maybe I can help. In our Questions section, people ask questions and by clicking on each question you can see the answers. I continue to struggle with this site - how do you discuss anything with someone. I see lots of questions thrown out there but no continuity of replies. Everything seems very choppy. I'm close to giving up.

I'm a little frustrated right now! During and following Taxol, I've had neuropathy in all of my extremities - all different. The worst is in my right hand - I have trouble doing anything with it - writing, lifting etc. I've talked all my Drs. about it. I was finally put on Gabapentin and got relief in the other 3 extremities but not my right hand - if anything, it's getting worse. I've now seen a neurologist and an EMG is scheduled for the end of August. Everything is hurry up and wait! This has really affected my life and made me miserable but it doesn't seem like it's important to anyone else. The neurologist thinks it's neuropathy and I'm pretty much stuck with it for life. Would this be OK with anyone here? I'm also having a brain MRI today due to increasing headaches that have been diagnosed as migraines. I've never had them before and I'm really annoyed with all these changes. Sorry to vent - I needed relief.

I'm really having trouble using this sight! I can't get to the people I'm given the names of several times a day. Occasionally, I can answer questions but most of the time I can't even re-read what I wrote. Also, KarenG - I can't find a support group in our area for breast cancer - where is there something in Iowa? Help please!
Karen

Hi! Dave here, I am going to respond for Karen since I just saw your post. I am sorry for your trouble! Let's see if we can fix it:
1) Support Groups: If you click on Resources above in the blue bar, that should take you to a page of local resources that may include support groups. If that doesn't give you what you need, contact the American Cancer Society at the phone number to the bottom and right of this page. Another suggestion is to ask the patient navigator at your cancer center.
2) To connect with people who share your diagnosis, click on "see more" in the box "Find Peers" to the right. Then you can click on the names of those who interest you. Whenever you see a user name, you should be able to click on their name to be taken to their profile page.
3) Is the questions trouble related to your inability to see what you wrote after you post it? That is something we are working on. If you refresh your page it will be there.
We are still under a year so still making some tweaks. I appreciate your feedback and any other ideas you may have as to improve the site.
Thank you!
Dave
