Well, this past Friday, I completed the 1,2,3 punch of Treatment. I was diagnosed with stage IIIb Andemous/Squamous Carcinoma of the cervix. Thankfully, I was in generally good enough shape to endure 4 Brachys, 6 Chemos with Cisplatin and 28 180Rads Radiation. Now that this phase is over, I am curious as to what to expect during "recovery". I'm of the mind that my body will flush out the dead and dying cells through aspiration & elimination. Any insights? So far, I've come to embrace the hot-flashes, as to me, it is a sign my body is cleansing. Am I correct? What else should I expect?
