I guess I fall into that category too then, because I do say I BEAT it, three times. So I guess technically, I didn't beat it the first two did I? For me, it helps to keep a positive attitude about it. I would much rather believe that I have beaten it, than to sit around and say it's still with me waiting to come get me. But that's just how I am.

Just a (churlish?) comment in general: I am tired of people saying (on Facebook, etc.): "I have beat cancer!" Cancer isn't pneumonia or measles; it's not an illness where you know that when it's over, it's OVER. One distressing thing about cancer is that, with most kinds of cancer, you never can be 100% sure you "beat it." Well, maybe forty years after diagnosis....Just saying.
