So...I went to my chemo Dr today n again got worse news...the cancer is also in the lining of my stomach. I asked her what my chances are n she said without chemo there is no chance of survival n with treatment I could have a 5 year life expectancy....does this mean im gonna die no matter what?

My Dr couldn't even answer the? What kind of cancer do I have? He said he thought it started with the tumor on my uterus and when the biopsy came back they think it started on my ovaries or my tubes. Most? I asked he just shook his head n shrugged his shoulders.on 10/25/11 he told me it was stage 3c n didn't have many answers about that either. I'm out of questions to ask cause I just don't know anything about cancer in general. Any feedback anyone has will be greatly appreciated.thanx

Chelley, I am sorry you are having such a hard time getting diagnosed. I would recommend you call the American Cancer Society. You can find their number on the right side of this page or at the bottom. They can help with figure out how best to engage your doctors and how best to drive to a specific diagnosis.
