I recently had NHL. I had cancer before...3 times...and one of those was Endometrial. I was just coming out of Breast cancer and was putting lotion on after my shower when I felt a jelly-like lump at and under my cheek bone. I called the next morning and told the oncology nurse what I had found. They got in touch with my breast oncologist and he bought me in for a pet scan. You already have an oncologist. Tell her. After one or more cancers we have to be careful. By the way, the PET scan showed cancer in all my lymph nodes from my neck to my pelvis. That was late 2016, and today I am cancer free. Don't take chances with this precious body you have been given. It may not be anything, but......May God bless.

The lumps you describe are lymph nodes. Get an apointment with your PCP now. The sooner you know what they are the less you will have to fear.

Yes, it's very important and urgent that you tell your oncologist as soon as possible. Don't delay.

And remember rhere are reasons other than cancer for bumps to appear and for lymph nodes to swell.

Get checked out by your docs.

      Very good night.

Talk to your Dr. about this. If your PCP is knowledgeable about cancer. Cancer plays havoc with our metabolism. Different cancers and different surgeries affect the metabolism in different ways. However if this is a fever it might indicate and infection.

I'm almost 6 years out from total hysterectomy. I don't get traditional hot flashes. Instead, when I'm standing in line at the grocery or do the laundry, I'm suddenly soaking wet w/sweat. It's the weirdest thing. A nurse once told me what it was, but I don't remember... Hmm, not much help, am I? Other than to let you know you are not alone.
