Good news... if I may brag a little... finally, after a year has gone by (one year since treatment and 9 months after the good PET...people are saying I am looking more and more like myself...gleam back in eyes, smile on face, lighter on my feet, color back to my skin and hair looking normal. Not sure if it's insensitive to write this but I have waited so long to feel and look like me again.

That's actually the type of thing we love to hear. That lets everyone know who is going through it that they too can reach the point of recovery.

One last thing.... anyone following who was or is diagnosed with Anal cancer..... We have a Ribbon! When I was first diagnosed I was surprised to see no ribbon. I researched and found out a few reasons why...and of course, it's not the only cancer without the recognition and awareness medium of a ribbon but, It was something that bothered me...weird, I know. But now Anal Cancer has a ribbon. Need to spread the word so it can be prevented and more money for research. Anyway, just thought I would share that too.

Passed my one year diagnosis "anniversary". I know this sounds crazy but I was nervous about how I would handle that day. Upward and onward!!!!
