I have been receiving physical therapy and massage for fluid in my right breast area. I have been told this happens to some people. The fluid causes pain all the time. The pain makes it hard to sleep at night. No sleep kicks in the depression and anxiety. I'm trying to be positive and don't get me wrong I do have some good days but still have the pain. Someday hopefully very near everything will get back to normal and my pain will go away. Keeping positive :)

      Bug
The physical therapist told me that the therapy will help soon but its only made the pain radiate to other areas. My whole upper side hurts from the neck, breast area down to my waist and down my right arm now. A lot of muscle issues going on with it. I'm so tired of hurting constantly.

Oh, my gosh - I can imagine that, yes, you are tired of it hurting constantly. Constant pain wears you down. I'm so sorry to hear this. If muscles are involved, would some type of pain reliever help?

I just wanted to share my experience with everyone. I was reading on this site about what not to say to someone that has cancer. In the middle of my treatments is when everyone in my small town found out about my diagnosis. Many people avoided me and a few that never spoke to me came forward and acted like they cared when all they were interested in was to gossip about me. I remember one 87 yr. old guy that made my day. He was the first one to approach me instead of whispering about me as I walk by. I work in a small town business and he came up to the counter and started saying "Are they ok?". I'm thinking he was asking about a item in the store. And I asked him "What item are asking about?" He leans over towards me and pats his chest and said are "They ok?" This 87 yr. old man made my day. He didn't know how or what to say to me after finding out my diagnosis but he made a attempt in his own way to approach me to make sure I was ok. I didn't laugh to embarrass him but it gave me a much needed smile I needed that day.
Many people don't know how to talk to people once they find out about a diagnosis. Many avoid you and many say the wrong things. I had family members avoid me because it scared them. I had to approach them and explain that it was ok. Don't always take someone's comments the wrong, besides people being ignorant and rude there are people that do care but just don't know the right things to say. (Thank you to that 87 yr. old man that made my day when I needed a smile)

I appreciate everyone's responses on the questions I have posted. There were a few comments made that made it sound like I wasn't appreciative about not having cancer. Anxiety and depression are illnesses also if you have never had either of these issues you wouldn't understand. I appreciate that I'm now cancer free but my anxiety and depression go beyond my cancer issues. I don't appreciate people commenting telling me that being cancer free should be enough to cause me not to have anxiety and depression. If only it was that easy to just shut anxiety and depression off like a light switch. I understand there are many people out in the world worse off than myself. I was just asking for suggestions on how to handle anxiety and depression. Thank you for all that stuck to the topic.

Try not to take some of these things personally, when you post on a website that has thousands of people on it you will get some that want to make comments that are off topic. Hope you are doing OK, let me know if I can help with anything here on the site.
