In the hopes of improving my energy level I've joined a gym (being in treatment for more than a few months seems to take every ounce of energy, to to mention muscle tone, you have). I started out slow and easy and boy am I sore but it's a GOOD thing:-) Friend of mine says you can join the YMCA (twice a week for three months) as a cancer survivor so that might be a good option for some folks. I had already signed up at mine.

There are a few people on the site that have signed up for the Y's program. Several have been successful with it.

Well wish me luck. After three chemo's, 28 radiations, three more chemo's and a CT scan Monday, I'm off to the oncologist for the results tomorrow. hopefully the microscopic cancer cells have taken the hint and left. All in all I've done well with only minimal side effects and remained extraordinarily healthy. Whatever happens it's been an interesting journey and thanks for letting me hang out with you:-)

Two days out from chemo treatment. stil no n/v, no pain, no fatigue. Third dose of Emend which other cancer patients say does the trick preventing nausea and I'm beginning to be a believer. Off to work. Rather like being in AA isn't it? One day at a time.

So glad you are doing well in treatment. And you are definitely right -- one day at a time. I hope it continues to be easy for ya.

Fatigue setting in but the pain isn't bad. That's okay. I'm visualizing the cancer cells tired, sore and just dying off. Small price to pay:-)
