Last weekend I celebrated my 2 year stem cell transplant anniversary! The Doc calls it my new birthday! I have had 2 great years with no major set backs! That's the first time I have said or typed that, scary! I try to stay busy because at times I get so nervous thinking the cancer will come back or another will appear. I am very happy and those moments are getting fewer and farther between. I am blessed to have my life, husband, children and grand children! Thank the Lord!

Yes it is a hard thing to do, keeping your mind off of the cancer and on the happy things in life, but I have learned that it makes your life much better if you do. Happy cancerversary! We hope you continue to do great!

On April 1, 2013, I went to see my oncologist/hematologist. My blood work was great and my liver had regenerated to within 16 of normal! I am 100% donor cells for 21 months now. Since my diagnosis and treatment I have always thanked God, my doctor, my donor (my brother) and my husband (who literally did everything for me when I couldn't). I am still not released to work yet but am working toward that goal. I have as many of you, been through many treatments, tests and extreme lows, I am here if I can help anyone. I would love to help with any information or just listen if you need to talk. I want to pay it forward if possible, as much as possible. You may email me if you like and put what next question in subject line so it is not overlooked. Thank all who helped me, it was and is greatly appreciated.

Sounds like your making progress. That's great! and thanks for offering your support on the site. That's kind of how it works, you come on the site when you need help, then when you've been through it all, you have the wisdom and experience to offer help back to others, paying it forward. Thanks for being with us.
