This is a good example of how just a kind word, a phone call, a letter, even a comment or answer on a post here at WhatNext can remind someone that they are not alone, and they do not have to fight cancer alone, we are here.

After we have been through so much, it's hard to believe that anyone could have it any worse than we do. But if you just look around a little bit you will see that there are some that do. And some are not here to complain about it anymore.
God bless us all.

Preview_make_someone_laugh_today

I never mean to offend anyone but quite the opposite. I figure if I can make a cancer patient laugh just once and forget their problems for a few seconds I've done my job. When I go to the treatment center or anywhere else where I might be around other cancer patients I try to be light hearted and make those I talk with feel a little better for a few minutes.

So how is your memory after chemo? Do you find that you can remember a line from a Journey tune from the '80s but you don't know why you put your car keys in the freezer?
