    1st Colonoscopy ... Hints?

I have put off having a colonoscopy all of these years, but the time has finally come :(

I bet a lot of you may have some hints to make this easier ... I don't dread the procedure itself, but I totally dread the prep. I am afraid about how hungry I will be when I can't eat anything...

Anyway, any hints for before or after the procedure would be greatly appreciated.

@LiveWithCancer yes my brother and sister-in-law live there I recognized your name but I didn't recognize your profile picture and I can't trust my mind even on the days I find it ! I saw picture of you and your dog reminded me that my sister-in-law used to ride her motorcycle all over with her Pomeranian in a milk carton crate on the back and one day a police officer followed her into the parking lot of the store And she thought she was in trouble but he just wanted to tell her he had never seen anything like that because her dog just up perfectly still and the officer was amazed!!

@RubyFaye, my husband used to ride his motorcycle with Run for the Wall (a cross country trek from CA to DC for veterans). He had a friend called General's Driver. General was a Papillion that his Driver carried in his jacket. General went EVERYWHERE.

Very sadly, General's Driver had an accident. General was killed and his Driver has spent many months in the hospital :( :(

When she was a puppy, I took Cotton to meet the Run for the Wall group when they came through town. There were hundreds of motorcycles. At first, she was scared, but pretty soon she realized that she was the center of attention - her favorite place to be. To this day, she gets so excited when she hears a motorcycle, especially a Harley. She has, however, never gone for a ride on one!!
