6 months post hysterctomy, slight pain vaginia and lower abdomen after using jet swifter.

Is it normal to get slight pain 6 months post hysterctomy? I am thinking I am using muscles that I have not been using since procedure. I am hoping this is normal and hoping someone can tell me this is normal because I am using different muscles. It's a little scary hoping I did not do any damage, no bleeding just little discomfort which is not normal for me. Can you can pain for awhile till all muscles are healed . Do you think I could of damaged something?

Debbie, I agree with the others. You are probably using muscles that have not been used for a while. It takes time to completely heal from a hysterectomy. I still get little pings and aches sometimes after three years. Give it time and if it doesn't improve then call your doctor for your own peace of mind.

I had some inital aches and twinges. I started an exercise (easy) program, first through a friend who is a rehab PTA and then through our local wellness center that offers exercise 1:1 for cancer patients. Made a big difference for energy and stamina.
