Hello, I am an oncology nurse and first let me say that the appendix is on the right side of the abdomen, not the left. I can try to help you but would need more information. How would you describe t HDe pain (ie stabbing, throbing)? Is it constant or intermittent? What precedes it, in other words do you notice it more after a meal or after exercise, etc? How would you rate it if 10 is the worst and 0 is no pain at all? On the left side it cou kgd be something as simple as gastritis. And just one more strange question...have you noticed any itching on your feet? Ill try to help you once I get a better picture.

      Thanx for the correction, @carm.

Sorry, Charliee. My brain is in left field.

Hope you feel better soon and that it is just a digestive issue.

Charliee. Your need to get your Dr. to refer you to a pain management specialist or palliative care specialist. Once you have determined the cause of the pain. Perhaps you should see your PCP the pain may not be cancer related. That being said once the source of pain is known there are non chemical ways of treating the pain while trying to cure the cause. Some of these hypotism, acupuncture, body awareness and physical therapy.
