A quote says you have 3 choices: Give in, Give Up, or Give It All You Got

How do you feel about this? I am giving it all I got everyday, but sometimes you feel like giving in and let what will happen, happen. Does anyone else feel like this ever?

Of course! There are days when I say, "I don't want to do this anymore. I CAN'T do this anymore. I am SO tired. " But you just keep putting one foot in front of the other. Quitting is not an option.

I agree. When you are going through a serious battle, there are days you just want to walk away. But we don't have a choice. Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming.....

So very true. When we are tired and discouraged, giving up seems appealing. But we just have to keep putting one foot in front of the other and do what it takes to tame this beast.

I will agree that all of us are giving it all we've got. I will also say that in some circumstances for those who have given all they have and it just wasn't enough, when their cancer gets the best of them, there's no shame in giving in and relaxing in the final stages. We all hope that we won't reach that point, but it's just a fact that some of us will. We are all going to die someday, we just hope it's not today.

I said quitting is not an option but Greg is right. Quitting is not an option until it is. Only the person going through their unique situation knows when that is.

If I only had this to live for,for up to so little years or even less for some Believers ,it wouldn't be worth it.

I guess I have given it all I've got ... I get the treatments I need when I need to get them, but otherwise, I have tried to just live my life, not my cancer, not my diagnosis. There are days when I am tired, I rest ... but mostly, I do things I love to do as often as I possibly can. Lots of people have no idea I am sick, some know I "had" cancer but are not aware that I "have" cancer ... they think it has come and gone ... My happiest days are days when I go to my friend's ranch, help her feed her herd of miniature horses and her too-many-to-count Shelties ... I leave there so tired and sore I can barely move, but I enjoy every single second of hauling hay, scooping poop, and just plain living. (I just wish I didn't have to drive 2 hours each way to get there...)
