    a tasty fresh greens juice??

Does anyone have a tasty (and I mean drinkable without holding my nose) fresh greens juice? I have made many gallons of time consuming expensive organic greens juice and then due to the horrid taste, dumped them around plants as liquid compost. Help. Thanks, Lindy

Sounds good. Let me know if you find one that doesn't taste like you're licking the lawn mower.

My favorite greens juice involves limes and tequila. Do limes count as greens?

The Green juice I drank was one that I bought. Those were the only ones so far that tasted good to me. The brand name was Naked : )

Start slow if your new to juicing esp greens. Do a 50-50 blend of fruit and greens then slowly change it. I do some fruit like blueberries apples with kale spinach and I always use a lime or lemon although I prefer the lime it adds a sweetnes to it wo being to sweet. I have slowly added more greens as my tastebuds get used to the green stuff. Good luck!

Absolutely! Juice 2-3 kale leaves, 2-3romaine leaves, 1/2 cucumber, 1 honey crisp apple. You can add a little steva or agave if your apple is not sweet enough. To add some good fat, blend the juice with some raw almond butter or 1/2 avacado. Yum! Even my kids like this! Check out Kris Carr's Crazy Sexy Diet.

I agree with polgara, start slow with juicing. I'm just getting back into juicing (had stopped for a while) but I usually always add apples (Granny Smith or Sweet Delicious) to my green veggies.
I will do like Spinach, Kale, Carrots and an Apple. Most times I make up my own recipes but the apple is going to be an ingredient. I found it adds sweetness to the taste and it doesn't leave that green bitter taste in my mouth. Good luck, juicing can really be good with the right combination of STUFF.

Googled Green Machine by Naked Juice:
      Homemade Green Superfood Juice

      Super Cube Ingredients:

      3 kiwi, peeled
1 mango, about 1 1/2 cups peeled and chopped
      1/2 cup pineapple chunks
      1/2 cup sliced peaches
      1 teaspoon minced ginger
8 scoops of greens powder, or about 1/2 cup

Combine all ingredients in a food processor and pulse to combine. Divide greens puree into ice cube trays and freeze. Once frozen, empty cubes into a freezer bag and use within 3 months.

Makes about 2 cups of greens puree, or about 27 ice cubes to use in 9 smoothies.

      Smoothie Ingredients:

      3 green supercubes
      1 cup apple juice
      1 ripe banana

In a blender, combine all ingredients and blend until smooth. Makes a 1 1/2 cups of thick juice.

I drink a delish baby kale, banana and a splash of lemonade juice drink daily. Its really tasty. I also add chia seeds. They sell organic baby kale at Costco for under $5 a bag. Try it, I hate veggies but this is a tasty drink!
