    Adenocarcinoma Small Intestine

Others or Family of Others Out There? Rare cancer. Surgery in February. No chemo or rad. Small tumors now present in abdominal tissue, not operable. Not so great, but not so bad, statistics and not much clinical info. What happened to you, when, etc? Outcome? (Often fatal, I know. But how did it present at the end?) If survived, how do think that was achieved since chemo and rad are not recommended for this cancer? Not having anecdotal info from others makes it harder. My dr is great, but he has no data upon which to speculate with me. You could help us both. Thank you.

HI Diansky, I'm presently in remission and plan to stay that way with the many changes I have made to my life. Was diagnosed in Feb. 2014, operated on, had chemo and have made many changes to lifestyle and such. I've created a Facebook page titled "small intestine cancer" because I did not see a "one stop shop" to help me either. I also recommend "Cancer Treatment Centers of America!" They are spectacular with help. Please follow me on Facebook and hope it helps, for that's my goal. I have more to add to it and will be soon. May God Hold You through this, Christi
