Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma, cancer of the lacrimal duct

On Oct. 10th, 2013, I started my radiation, 5 days per week for 6 ½
weeks. I have adenoid cystic carcinoma, cancer of the lacrimal duct. I searched and searched and did not find anyone who had this type of cancer. I was hoping to share information as to how you are supposed to feel after radiation treatment.

I did not have your type of cancer but did go through breast radiation after chemo. Not sure if it is similar though. On this site if you look at the purple button on the bottom right side of this page, you can hit that and get more info for support. I hope that helps. I sure wish you the best.

airimia, I have adenoid cystic carcinoma that started in my right parotid salivary gland. I don't know of anyone where it started in the lacrimal duct, but I do know that surgery and radiation are the first protocol followed.
