Try Busted. They have a gran type program, the app is due soon. Also, call American Cancer Society and Cancer Care see what they can suggest. Best of luck!

This is what my Dad is terrified of...but I have read that you can call The Cancer Society and find help...I have a good friend at my work who's family is going through the finantial burden of his treatments...they have already had a bake sale at the fathers work, found people to donate things for a raffle and did a bowling night extravaganza, all together they have made a signifigant ammount of money...I have also heard of people doing 'coin drives', and it all adds up. Do whatever you have to, enlist family and friends...those close to you will WANT to help and be happy to! I hope things look up soon!

The hospital where I was treated and operated on called after my insurance had paid all that it would, wanted to know if I would be paying the 40K by cash, check or credit card. I asked "what's option d". they had me fill out some financial forms, and about 3 months later sent me a letter saying my bill was taken care of. So, call and ask for financial assistance, it never hurts to ask, but ask quick, some places run out of money for assistance quickly until the next year.
