    amputation hemi-pelvectomy

We need to find a doctor that makes and fits for a prostetic? We have been told that the key to have a comfortable prostetic is finding a great doctor, one who is a perfectionist for that perfect fit. Anyone out there have any sugestions? My husband will be in rehab soon and in three months he can be fitted for one, so I am trying to find a good place to start. Also funds are limited as he is on ohio medicaid and medicare as well. Anyone out there who lives in ohio -cleveland area or will travel if needed...

I read your post and the request for information on the procurement of a prosthesis. If you will allow me some time to do some research, I feel confident that I might be able to steer you in the right direction. I am an oncology nurse. I will send you information tomorrow. I didn't want your question to go by unanswered. I did find the name of a prosthetic manufacturer. It is just a matter of getting the cost covered or forgiven. I will send you all data by tomorrow evening. Enjoy your holiday and let me do the research, Carm RN.
