I got a script for lorazepam in case the anxiety was too much for me to have any peace. I was in chemo for 20 weeks and finished my 30 pills around the time I finished chemo - so just over 1 pill a week. I also kept up with yoga classes and took lots of walks. I was real anxious for about a year after diagnosis but it was manageable once I finushed chemo.

I know it is all so overwhelming. Just here to tell you that once treatments start you will probably feel a certain amount of control that you are in the fight and doing something about it. Also...the year plus of treatments will be done before you know it! Hope it helps to know that many have done this and are still here to enjoy life....I'm one of them. Over 11 years since diagnosis and now almost 10 years testing clear. Hang in there!
