Any simple hobby suggestions to keep one occupied? Otherwise I just sleep. Thank you for any ideas.

Anyone know of some fun things to do while not feeling so great? Knitting and crocheting are not my thing; I'm not particularly artistic either. I love gardening, but I'm not suppose to get my hands in the dirt. Any ideas? Thank you for sharing.

Sudoku and other puzzles. I'm not much of a reader, but I always have my puzzle books with me. They help to keep my mind sharp and focused when chemo brain tries to take over.

I also had a bunch of projects I had on the back-burner. I spent time organizing my photo albums, cleaning closets and shredding old documents.

I was also able to spend time doing genealogy.

How about going to your library and taking out magazines, dvd's or music cd's.

I am not artsy or creative, but I did a project with my students which is very easy, but time-consuming. We made blankets for the children at the hospital. You can Google for the directions. Easy and doesn't take much thought.

Another project is to clip and send coupons to military families overseas (they can use coupons at the commissaries on base that are 6-months past expiration). Again, you can Google and read about it online.
