I don't know of websites, but contact your local cancer society. They should know. I was able to get a wig at no cost from my hospital.

I know Carol adores Paula Young. There are also lots of both wigs & hats on the TLC website. They can be accessed from the American Cancer Society site. I've not purchased any wigs yet, but I have a whole bunch of hats from TLC and just placed another order. Their hats are nice -- they aren't stiff and hard, but soft and flexible. Still have hair for now, but I'm expecting that to change in the next couple weeks. I also just got info today from the ACS of a couple places locally where I can get a wig at no cost. I'm going to check those out as well. The best of luck in your searching.

TLC has a lot to choose from but you may want to find a wig shop in your area. That way you can try a few on before you buy one. You might be surprised at what looks good on you!

Paula Young has some very reasonably priced wigs...and sjjohnson is correct...ACS often has wigs to loan or give to patients....

I have a wig but I need another one. I paid $400.00 for mine and it is supposed to be the best of the best but I don't think it is because it tangles a lot! I tried Paula Young and her wigs are a tad out of my style range. Has anyone tried Voguewigs.com?

I've used both Wilshire Wigs and Wigs.com. I have lots of wigs, but they allow me to wear the right one for the mood I'm in. I have serious and funny wigs. Funny ones would be the pink Katy Perry, the green tinsel, and the 2 Jon Bon Jovi in the 80's wigs. It's a hoot to see peoples' reactions to the goofy wigs and always puts me in a good mood...

There are a lot of good websites out there but I can't remember the specific site I used. I would recommend getting a wig that is cut in a bob. My wig was shoulder length and like to get tangled up and itch the back of my neck.

I used vogue wigs. They aren't bad, but I will suggest getting ones with side swept bangs. I bought quite a few from there and the ones without bangs were very obvious as wigs, so I just wore those with hats or a headband. I was diagnosed when I was 22 & I think that website has the best hairstyles for people our age. I still wear them occassionally for fun :) Feel free to message me if you have any questions about the road ahead.

I tried wearing a wig, I successfully wore it 2 times. It was hot and itchy and i hated it. I went out and bought 40 different bandanas to match my clothes. Some i had to buy new clothes to match them! But it was so much easier and so much cheaper! Im so happy that i never actually bought a wig.
