You see, there are lot's of us here, as one said, Cancer, is Cancer. I have had two types, Hodgkins, and Squamous cell of the tonsil. so I am at least in the same body area as your type. You can talk to most any of us. Let us know if you have questions, just need to talk, or anything. Most anyone here is glad to help.

If you are going to fight Cancer, thyroid is one of the ones that is generally survivable. I had it as a teenager in the mid 70's and again 30 years later. I would be more than happy to help you with anything. My biggest suggestion would be to make sure you suck on sour candies during iodine treatment and make sure you have lots of laughter. You made the right start by looking for friends who have been through it. Please contact all of us for help and questions! You have entered to alternate universe of the big C with has its fears and its strengths. Please stay strong, Tracy
