    Are high WBC levels ranging from 11-18 something to be concerned about?

      I think it depends on why they're elevated. Are you currently going through chemo? If so, did you receive a neulasta or neupogen injection? If so, that could be the reason for the elivation. I recived a neulasta injection after my first round of chemo and my WBC shot up to 17. My Dr just laughed said "well, I guess we over did it on that one". If you haven't received either of these shots and still have an elevated WBC, that could indicate an infection which your Dr would need to figure out. This is a great question for our resident Oncology Nurse @carm.
