Are relapses obvious or subtle? What are the symptoms of relapse?

Relapse is a relapse. It has no parameters or rules.

Be watchful, but try not to obsess. The obsession can be just as detrimental to your life as the cancer. When you spot something you think might be a warning, give it a few days to see what happens and remember to mention it to your doctor when go in for your next checkup.

Tom, the problem with cancer is that there is often no outward signs of a problem, at least until the cancer is fairly advanced thus there is no good way other than screening to find it early. The good news is that once you have had cancer they tend to watch you very closely so that they can find anything new early. The best advice is to get your checkups regularly and react to any signs by notifying your Drs. ASAP, but don't spend too much time worrying about a reoccurrence. Good Luck

I am making every effort to be on guard but not to be paranoid as I want to enjoy life instead of worrying it away. Of course, it is easier said than done. Good Luck!
